  The Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge is known as the "first bridge" on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. It is only 1.55 kilometers upstream of the Third Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and about 20 kilometers upstream of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. The total length is about 9270m. It is a six-span continuous steel truss arch bridge with a main span of 2 × 336m. The double arch is the largest span of similar bridges in the world. And Nanjing subway line; Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is designed to reach 300 kilometers per hour, Hu-Han-Rong railway is a Class I trunk line, with passenger and freight lines, the designed speed of passenger cars is 200 kilometers per hour, and the speed of Nanjing subway is 80 kilometers per hour. There are four 15m internodes within 60m on each side of the three main pier. The remaining internodes are 12m in length and the vertical poles are arranged vertically. Due to the vertical curve of the bridge deck, the symmetry of the arch span structure must be taken into account. The two internodes of the main piers in near 7 # were adjusted to 15.72m, and the remaining internode length was still 12m.

  The total investment of the project is 4.56 billion yuan, the construction period is from July 2006 to November 2009, and it will be opened to traffic in 2010.
