Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge is known as the "first bridge" on the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway. It is only 1.55 kilometers away from the upper reaches of the third Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and about 20 kilometers away from the upper reaches of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. With a total length of about 9270m, it is a six span continuous steel truss arch bridge with a main span of 2 × 336m, the double arch is the largest span of similar bridges in the world, and the bridge is arranged in six lines, including Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway double line, Shanghai Wuhan Chengdu railway double line and Nanjing Metro double line; Among them, the design speed of Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway is 300 kilometers per hour, the Shanghai Wuhan Chengdu Railway is a class I trunk line with mixed passenger and freight lines, the design speed of passenger cars is 200 kilometers per hour, and the speed of Nanjing Metro is 80 kilometers per hour. There are four 15m intervals within 60m on both sides of the three main piers, and the rest are 12m long. The vertical rods are arranged vertically. Due to the vertical curve of the bridge deck, the symmetry of the arch span structure should be taken into account. The two nodes of the main pier in the near 7 # bridge are adjusted to 15.72m, and the length of the remaining nodes is still 12m.

The total investment of the project is 4.56 billion yuan, and the construction period is from July 2006 to November 2009. It will be opened to traffic in 2010.
