Through time, this is 1954. In October, 12 private manual commercial households jointly established a collective enterprise - Hengshui Horse and Wagon Repair and Fitting Society, which became the first enterprise to set foot in the rubber industry in Hengshui. It has the most advanced and famous tire hot patching technology in Hengshui.

The simple workshop and equipment could not resist the youth and hard work of workers. In 1957, it was designated as the first professional production cooperative in Hebei Province to repair carriages and repair carriage tires.

The development of the cooperative should have a correct direction. In July 1958, the CPC Carriage Repair and Fitting Branch was established. The Party branch secretary was appointed by the higher Party committee, and Du Yongnian, a heroic anti Japanese Communist, became the first Party branch secretary.

In 1967, the first rubber mixing machine in Hengshui was purchased. It began to roll rubber externally and produce retreaded tires and small rubber products, becoming the first rubber processing enterprise in Hengshui County, supporting the development of community and team enterprises and accumulating talents and technical reserves.

Qi Cunxiu, the archetypal hero of Gunshot on the Plain, came here in October 1969 and served as the director of the Revolutionary Committee. He led the staff to give play to the spirit of the Red War of Resistance, expand the South Plant, increase the production scale, and build the North Plant. In 1970, he achieved the grand goal of "working hard for a hundred days and producing more than a million yuan".

In 1971, the prototype of Ma Ying, the hero of "Guns on the Plain" -- Liu Ying came to the enterprise to visit Qi Cunxiu, an old comrade in arms. At a critical time when the factory was expanding and developing tires and recycled rubber, the old hero contacted the main leaders of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and allocated an old locomotive steam boiler to solve the big problem.

Eight "Anti Japanese War Veterans" have been transferred to work and joined in succession. Through many political movements, management system reform, and economic system reform, this young plant has grown into a towering tree in the wind and rain, and has made amazing achievements in changing the times.

In 1974, the small drag battle laid the foundation. As a designated manufacturer of tractor tires for the "small tractor battle" of Hebei Provincial Department of Chemical Industry, Shi Zhensheng, the secretary of the Party branch, led the cadres and workers to carry out technical transformation day and night, tackle key problems in science and technology, and successfully put them into production.

In 1978, the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee was held with far-reaching significance. Our country has entered a new era of reform and opening up. Heng Xiang has emancipated the mind, updated ideas, and shifted the focus of work to vigorously develop production.

In July 1979, the factory director responsibility system under the leadership of the Party branch was implemented. It is the first time to try out the economic responsibility system in the tire workshop, establish rules and regulations, and conduct scientific management. The enterprise is thriving and growing rapidly, and the output value, profits and taxes have doubled continuously.

In 1985, Wu Dongliang served as the factory director, Zhao Cheng served as the secretary of the Party branch, and Zhi Bin, the deputy factory director, led the establishment of a new product technology research team. With respect to the technical transformation of recycled rubber, the output has jumped to the top five in China and the quality has ranked the top three. According to the national industrial policy adjustment, the development and production of bridge engineering rubber products is the main direction, and the plate seat has entered the traffic field.

In 1987, the General Party Branch was established. Administrative departments and workshops set up party branches to implement collective contracting by the party and government leadership. Zhao Chengyou was the secretary of the general party branch and Wu Dongliang was the deputy secretary. The landmark "Hengli" brand plate rubber bearing came out.

In February 1993, Hengshui Rubber Co., Ltd. was established. The General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Directors and the Board of Supervisors shall be set up to implement the modern company management system that the General Meeting of Shareholders elects the Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors appoints the general manager for management, the Board of Supervisors for supervision, and the general party branch for supervision and guarantee.

Four Hengshui heroes participated in the enterprise construction:

Wu Dongliang won the National May Day Labor Medal, enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council, led the company to develop into an industry leader, created "Dongfeng phenomenon", and formed "a glorious banner on the industrial front of Hengshui City";

Wei Cunjie won the title of model worker in Hebei Province and entrepreneurial merit in Hengshui City, and led the company to develop into one of the top ten rubber products enterprises in China, an enterprise implementing the National Torch Plan, and a well-known trademark enterprise in China;

Sun Jinggang was awarded as a model worker in Hebei Province, laying a solid foundation for the development and market occupation of highway and railway products, and making outstanding contributions to the company's development and national transportation construction;

Zhao Zhiliang was rated as a skilled craftsman in Hebei Province, a recognized rubber craftsman and worker expert in the industry, and has won the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress award and excellent new product award for many times.

In 2018, Hengxiang Science and Technology Party Committee was established. Focusing on management, we should focus on Party building to promote business, carry out integrated Party building, infiltrate Party building into all aspects of operation and management, and form a good interaction between Party building and the staff.

Tian Jiande, Secretary of the Party Committee, won the title of "One Thousand Excellent Branches of Hebei Province", enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council and the provincial government allowance, led the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, established postdoctoral research workstations, became a national intellectual property advantage enterprise, a national advanced unit for scientific and technological innovation in transportation construction, and a high-tech enterprise in Hebei Province, and embarked on a high-quality development path with Hengxiang characteristics.

From manual workshop to group company. The carriage repair club with 40 people has become Hengxiang Technology with 1200 people. Through the vicissitudes of life, Hengxiang Technology has made everything it wants with persistence and efforts.
